CNA Classes in Hartford Connecticut
The CNA classes in Hartford, CT are designed around several units that are planned to instruct the prospective Connecticut certified nursing assistant in the role in long-term patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
Your first step would be to actually enroll in an accredited Nurse Aide class in Hartford. Becoming a certified nurse aide requires a great deal of skill and knowledge. Most classes last between 6 and 12 weeks. A nurse aide student will need to learn about ethical and legal issues, CNA duties, and patient documentation.
After completing and passing the required class work, you will then be required to take and pass the Connecticut state certification exam in order to become employed as a certified nursing assistant.
Hartford CNAs must uphold principles of professionalism. Certified nursing assistants must carry out themselves in a manner that is in the best interest of the patient and the profession.
