Delmar Gardens Free CNA Classes in Missouri

Those who are interested in become a certified nursing assistant in Missouri may want to look into the free CNA class that is offered at Delmar Gardens. This is an option of individuals who may not have the funds to pay for training out of their own pocket.  They are a team-oriented environment, with an outstanding starting salary and exceptional benefits package.

Missouri requires that the training for a nurse aide must have a minimal of 75 hours that are devoted to classroom training and clinical training that must consist of 45 hours.  Both Totaling up to 120 hours as required by the state.  Delmar Gardens meet these requirements.

Certified nursing assistants in Missouri are responsible for direct patient care.  On a day to day basis they perform a wide variety of tasks that may include:

  • Taking Vitals
  • Help with dressing and undressing
  • Bathing
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Hygiene needs

A Nursing Assistant Trainee Program Agreement to confirm your understanding of the requirements and expectations of the program are required before beginning the classes at Delmar Gardens.

The CNA classes at Delmar Garden is free of charge and it also includes the training manual needed.  The classroom hours for the training in will be held at the Delmar Gardens facility.   Individuals must complete the course and pass the NA certification test within 120 days of signing the Nursing Assistant Trainee Program Agreement. 

During your training Delmar Gardens require you to be in “good standing” as an NAT this includes:

  • Attending all of the scheduled classes
  • Showing up on time for your scheduled shifts

Students who are successful at completing the training and certification,  will be promoted to Certified Nursing Assistant.  Once you pass your certification test, you will then receive a $2.00 increase.  This includes a pay increase and eligibility for incentive bonuses.   The Bonuses are for CNAs that are full time that are in good standing without written corrective action.

90 days after certification $250.00 (F/T CNA’s become eligible for benefits)
6 months after certification $250.00
1 year after certification $500.00
Total: $1000.00
