The Ultimate Guide To Alaska CNA Scholarships

Alaska is one of the states with the higher paying CNA jobs available.  However the
the state lacks people with Certified Nursing Assistant education and training needed to fill many of those positions.

There are several types of financial aid that are available at nursing assistant schools, such as scholarships that may be combined into your financial aid package.  Scholarships can be based on merit, need, demographics, or health career focus. They are frequently referred to as "gift aid" because you are not required to repaid them.

Some Alaska CNA scholarships may require that students complete a FAFSA before eligibility can be determined. Scholarship will not be awarded to individuals if, when combined with all other resources such as (Pell, other outside scholarships, loans, WIA, TRC, etc.), would exceed the student’s unmet need.
