1.   What is a CNA?
 
      Certified Nursing Assistants CNAs) are  providers of direct 
 
      patient care.  They help with the routine care and 
 
      treatment  of sick, disabled and  terminally ill patients,
 
      under the direct supervision of nurses.
 
 
2.   What do CNAs do, What is the CNA job description?
 
      CNAs  provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as:
  • Assist residents in wheelchairs  
  • Answering call lights
  • Bathing
  • Catheter care
  • Daily documentation on patients
  • Dressing
  • Feeding
  • Making beds
  • Post Mortem Care
  • Range of Motion Exercises
  • Reporting  all changes to supervisor
  • Toileting
  • Turning patients

     $24,285 = US National Average Salary

     The key factors affecting CNA salaries are years of experience and 

     work environment.

   

 4.  Where Can I find a Free CNA Training program?

      Free CNA school, Free CNA class, CNA cource, CNA program, CNA nursing

      program.

     Check with you local nursing homes,  rehabilitation centers

     hospitals, hospice, and home health agencies.  Many of

     these places will pay for your training in exchange that you

     work for them for a set period of time.  Don't forget to

7.  I'm moving to another state. How do I transfer my CNA   

     certification?

     If you already are Licensed, Certified, Registered or State

     Approved in your own State and want to move to another

     state, you will need to request reciprocity.  This means that

     you are asking the new state to recognize the approval you

     received from your home state.  Contact the State registry 

     in your home state and request a "Application for 

     Enrollment By Reciprocity".  Ask them if you should send 

     the completed form to them or to the state to which

     you are moving.

8.  How do I renew my CNA license?

     CNA license renewal, renewing CNA certification, CNA registry verification

     Since every state varies on renewing CNA certification, you will need to contact

     your State Registry

9.  CNA license lookup, CNA license verification

     For this you will also need to contact your CNA Registry

10. How long does it take to get a cna license?

      Training must include at least 75 hours of instruction, 16 of which invlove

      practicing hands-on clinical tasks under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN.
